**Border Group is expanding into Kelso**

As one of Britain’s leading distributors of the hire, sale and servicing of portable toilets throughout the North of England and South of Scotland, Border Group are now expanding their territory North into the Kelso region.

To support our expansion, we are looking for an Operative/Driver to be part of a successful, leading family-run business.

Job Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for working in a team to prepare our portaloo, trailer units, and other products to ensure the highest possible standards are maintained for our customers. You will also be responsible for delivering/collecting and servicing our toilet facilities across the northern England and southern Scotland and working within our depot and on customer sites to provide the best possible service to our clients.

Other duties will include assisting in our busy depot yard with tasks such as cleaning our products, moving and storing equipment, general maintenance and housekeeping, and inspecting equipment.

Job Criteria

• Hold a full UK driving licence (essential);
• Experience towing trailers (desirable);
• Experience in a similar role or industry;
• Happy to travel to our customers sites across the UK;
• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to be pro-active;
• Able to work under pressure and to deadlines;
• Able to work in a team to maximise the success of the business.

Contract Type – Permanent, Full Time

Working Hours – 42.5 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday from 7.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. with opportunities for additional overtime.
