An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transport Planner / Logistics Controller to join the busy team at Border Group Ltd.
As a key member of the Planning team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day Transport and Logistics aspects of the business.
Job Role
As a Transport Planner/Logistics Controller your responsibilities would include:
- Planning and co-ordinating inbound and outbound loo and barrier distribution to our range of customers.
- Utilising our current delivery fleet and using third-party transport efficiently.
- Overseeing all transport activities to and from our depot yard.
- Ensuring compliance with current Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures.
- Working closely with the Border Group teams, customers, and third-party contractors.
- Providing excellent customer service at all times.
Job Criteria
The ideal Transport Planner/Logistics Controller will have the following skills and experiences:
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry (desirable).
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency using transportation management software and tools.
- Strong IT skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Passion to drive the business forward.

Contract Type – Permanent, Full Time
Working Hours – 37.5 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
