An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transport Planner / Logistics Controller to join the busy team at Border Group Ltd.

As a key member of the Planning team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day Transport and Logistics aspects of the business.

Job Role

As a Transport Planner/Logistics Controller your responsibilities would include:

• Planning and co-ordinating inbound and outbound loo and barrier distribution to our range of customers.
• Utilising our current delivery fleet and using third-party transport efficiently.
• Overseeing all transport activities to and from our depot yard.
• Ensuring compliance with current Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures.
• Working closely with the Border Group teams, customers, and third-party contractors.
• Providing excellent customer service at all times.

Job Criteria

The ideal Transport Planner/Logistics Controller will have the following skills and experiences:

• Previous experience in a similar role or industry (desirable).
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency using transportation management software and tools.
• Strong IT skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Passion to drive the business forward.

Contract Type – Permanent, Full Time

Working Hours – 37.5 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
