An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Driver/Operative to join Border Group Ltd, based at our depot near Barnard Castle.

Are you looking to build a long-term career within a fast-paced industry? We are seeking a motivated and proactive Driver/Operative to join our growing team, supporting the service and transport of our toilet facilities across the UK.

Job Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for working in a team to prepare our toilet facilities and any of our other products to ensure the highest possible standards are maintained for our customers. You will also be responsible for delivering and collecting our products from events and customers across the UK to ensure their safe delivery to and from the depot.

Other duties will include assisting in our busy depot yard with tasks such as cleaning our products, moving and storing equipment, general maintenance and housekeeping, and inspecting equipment.

Job Criteria

The ideal Driver/Operative will have the following skills and experiences:

• Hold a full UK driving licence (essential);
• Experience towing trailers (essential);
• Experience in a similar role or industry;
• Happy to travel to our customers sites across the North East.
• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to be pro-active;
• Able to work under pressure and to deadlines;
• Able to work in a team to maximise the success of the business;

Contract Type – Permanent, full time.

Working Hours – 42.5 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday from 7.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. with overtime available. Occasional weekend availability will also be required.
